Guiomar is graduated from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in the field of Materials Science and Engineering. PhD student at the Doctoral School of the UPC of Materials Science and Technology.

Co-author of research works commissioned from the industry and patent applications. Participant in scientific conferences, internships and training on hard metals and surface integrity at the submicrometric length scale.

She is working on electrolyte design for new composite inorganic materials, optimization of dry-electropolishing process parameters of sintered and AM ceramic/metal composites.
