Europe Makes Ceramics
2024 yCAM forum in Tampere

The 2024 edition of the young Ceramists Additive Manufacturing Forum (yCAM) was organized by ECerS at The Tampere University in Finland, from 6th to 8th May 2024.
yCAM is a symposium and a forum on Additive Manufacturing of Ceramics dedicated to young scientists and is an initiative of Europe Makes Ceramics (EMC), the Additive Manufacturing network of ECerS. Everyone interested in AM who is a student, young researcher or young professional was welcome to join the event. yCAM 2024 was a place for open discussion, combining high-quality scientific presentations with a fresh and informal discussion at all levels, from learning the basics of new technologies to sharing practical experiences.
The traditional 2.5 days conference layout had a special addition: the RheoCAM workshop dedicated to rheology which took place on the afternoon of the 8th of May.

- Material jetting technologies (MJ, BJ)
- Vat photopolymerization (DLP, SLA, 2PP, Hologram)
- Material extrusion technologies (FFF, DIW)
- Emerging, hybrid and multi-material technologies
