Europe Makes Ceramics

2024 yCAM forum in Tampere

The young Ceramists Additive Manufacturing Forum (yCAM) is an event and networking platform organized by EMC and supported by ECerS and the JECS Trust, dedicated to all young researchers interested in the Additive Manufacturing of ceramics.

We are pleased to announce that the 2024 edition of yCAM will take place at Tampere University, Finland, from 6th to 8th May 2024.

Since its first edition in 2017, the scope of yCAM has been to provide a place for open and honest discussions, combining high-quality scientific presentations with a fresh and informal atmosphere. By that, yCAM wants to promote sustainable networking among everyone interested in AM and to create a great opportunity for students, young researchers, and professionals to meet their colleagues of tomorrow and become active members of the European Ceramic Society.

We believe the AM community needs a broader and more inclusive representation: yCAM 2024 opens to abstract submissions not only related to AM technologies but also its surroundings! Check the topics here!

Our traditional 2.5 days conference layout will have a special addition: don’t miss the opportunity to participate in RheoCAM, a unique workshop dedicated to rheology, which will take place on the afternoon of the 8th of May!

To facilitate the participation of young researchers, 20 travel grants will be sponsored by the JECS Trust. Priority will be given to oral presentations and the abstract evaluation.

yCAM is not only a conference but a community discussing the themes of Additive Manufacturing of ceramic materials. If you would like to join and help us grow this community, make sure to follow our updates :
